Connect POIZON

Connect an eligible POIZON seller account to RestocksAIO with OAuth.

POIZON support lets eligible seller accounts bring POIZON listing, inventory, order and fulfillment context into the same RestocksAIO workflow used for the rest of your marketplaces.

POIZON is useful for resellers because it is built around authenticated premium goods and a broad international product surface. POIZON publicly describes global sourcing across more than 2 million products, 1,000+ brands and more than 18 countries and regions, including sneakers, apparel, bags, watches, accessories and other collectible categories.

POIZON access is account and permission dependent. If your seller account does not have the required POIZON API permissions, some actions may not be available in RestocksAIO even if the account can log in.

How the sign-in works

POIZON does not use a normal username and password form inside RestocksAIO. It uses OAuth authorization:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Go to Accounts.

  3. Select POIZON.

  4. Click Connect POIZON.

  5. RestocksAIO opens the POIZON authorization page in your browser.

  6. Sign in with the eligible POIZON seller account and approve RestocksAIO access.

  7. POIZON redirects back to https://restock.gg/poizon-oauth-callback.

  8. The website passes the one-time authorization code back to the desktop app.

  9. RestocksAIO exchanges the code for POIZON tokens and saves the connected profile.

After the connection succeeds, the profile normally appears as [POIZON] - open_id because POIZON returns an account identifier rather than a merchant display name.

What happens after authorization

The callback page tries to open RestocksAIO through the restocksaio:// app link. Keep RestocksAIO open while finishing the browser flow so Windows can hand the authorization code back to the app.

After the app link fires, the browser may redirect to the RestocksAIO dashboard and show Successfully connected Poizon. That dashboard message only appears if the same browser is already signed in to restock.gg. If the browser is not signed in, you may see the login page instead; the desktop app handoff can still succeed.

The callback page also includes an Open RestocksAIO fallback button. Use it if the browser does not automatically open the app or Windows blocks the custom link prompt.

Before you connect

Make sure:

  • You are using the POIZON seller account that should be linked to RestocksAIO.

  • The account has the POIZON seller/API permissions needed for the actions you want to use.

  • Your browser is allowed to open RestocksAIO callback links after authorization.

  • You finish the flow in the same Windows user session where RestocksAIO is running.

If you manage multiple POIZON seller accounts, connect them one at a time and confirm which [POIZON] - open_id profile was added before starting marketplace work.

What RestocksAIO uses the connection for

Depending on the permissions granted by POIZON, RestocksAIO can use the connection for:

  • Listing and inventory context.

  • Product and SKU identity matching.

  • Order and fulfillment context.

  • Price and market signals used by supported workflows.

  • POIZON-specific seller actions where the account and API package allow them.

The goal is to reduce the amount of time power sellers spend switching into the POIZON seller dashboard. RestocksAIO groups POIZON work beside the rest of your marketplace stack so you can compare stock, react to sales and manage operational follow-up from one place.

Troubleshooting

If the browser says authorization succeeded but RestocksAIO does not show the account, return to the app and check whether Windows asked for permission to open the restocksaio:// link.

If the account connects but a POIZON action fails, the most common cause is missing POIZON API access for that seller account. Re-check the POIZON seller/developer panel or contact POIZON support for the required API package.

If your POIZON token expires or is revoked, remove the POIZON profile and run Connect POIZON again.

If you clicked Connect POIZON but the browser opened the wrong POIZON account, sign out of POIZON in the browser first, then restart the connection from RestocksAIO.

If the callback page opens but nothing changes in RestocksAIO, keep the app open and repeat the flow. Browser security prompts or blocked custom-link handlers can prevent the final handoff back to the desktop app.

If the same POIZON account appears more than once, keep the newest profile for that open_id and remove older duplicates before doing bulk work. Duplicate profiles usually mean the account was connected again before the old saved profile was cleaned up.
