Connect Wallapop

Connect a Wallapop account (Spain) through the Wallapop sign-in window, then publish, reprice, delete and relist Wallapop items and read your Wallapop sales.

RestocksAIO uses Wallapop as a store channel, next to eBay and Shopify. You sign in to Wallapop in a window that RestocksAIO opens. RestocksAIO keeps the session on your computer. It does not keep your Wallapop password.

Premium includes Wallapop. It is in the macOS app and the new Windows app.

Wallapop has no public seller API. RestocksAIO sends the same web requests as the Wallapop website. Wallapop can restrict accounts that automate their activity. Keep your volumes at a human level. Publish, reprice and relist small numbers of items each day.

Supported Wallapop site

RestocksAIO supports Wallapop Spain only (es.wallapop.com). Prices are in EUR.

The sign-in browser

RestocksAIO opens the Wallapop sign-in page in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. RestocksAIO cannot use Safari.

Wallapop blocks hidden browser windows. For this reason, the Wallapop sign-in always uses a visible window. RestocksAIO never opens a browser for Wallapop by itself.

If the computer has neither browser, RestocksAIO asks Download the login browser. The download is Google's "Chrome for Testing" build:

ComputerDownload size
Windows (64-bit Intel or AMD)About 207 MB
Mac with Apple siliconAbout 192 MB
Mac with IntelAbout 203 MB

RestocksAIO checks the downloaded file before it installs it. It uses this browser only for marketplace sign-in. On other computers, RestocksAIO shows "No login browser exists for this computer. Install Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, then connect again."

Each account gets its own browser profile on your computer. When you remove the account, RestocksAIO deletes this profile.

Connect the account

  1. Open Settings → Accounts.
  2. Select Wallapop.
  3. Click Connect account. The pane shows Connect Wallapop and Browser login.
  4. Click Connect Wallapop. The Wallapop sign-in window opens.
  5. Sign in with Google, Apple or your password.

The window closes when the sign-in is complete. RestocksAIO then reads the seller account, with its name and its location.

During the sign-in, the button shows Waiting for sign-in…. Keep RestocksAIO open. The sign-in stops when you close the window or after 5 minutes. Then click Connect Wallapop again.

To reconnect an account, select it and start the connection again. Each sign-in uses a new, empty browser profile.

Publishing defaults

After the connection, select the Wallapop account in Settings → Accounts. Go to Publishing defaults.

What RestocksAIO does on Wallapop

ActionWhat happens
Read your itemsRestocksAIO reads your Wallapop items into Listings. A sold item shows as ended. RestocksAIO reads the account at most every 10 minutes.
PublishThe Publish Composer publishes one Wallapop item for one unit. The item goes live at once. Wallapop has no drafts. If a photo upload fails after the item is made, RestocksAIO deletes the new item.
Change the priceRestocksAIO reads the item, sends it back with the new price, and reads the price again.
DeleteQuantity 0 deletes the item from Wallapop.
RelistRestocksAIO deletes a live item and publishes a fresh copy. See Relist from a saved copy.
SalesRestocksAIO reads your sales in progress and your sold items. A confirmed sale uses up the linked Inventory unit. RestocksAIO then updates the other store listings of that unit.
SessionRestocksAIO renews the short Wallapop access token from the session when it needs one. When the Wallapop session ends, reconnect the account.

Accept a buyer request in the Wallapop app. RestocksAIO does not accept requests.

The payout of a Wallapop sale is the item price. A private seller pays no seller fee on Wallapop.

If a buyer cancels after RestocksAIO used up the unit, RestocksAIO shows the order for review. It does not put the unit back in stock automatically.

One unit for each item

A Wallapop item holds one unit.

  • Quantity 1 keeps the item live.
  • Quantity 0 deletes the item. The menu shows Delete from Wallapop (cannot be undone). To sell the item again, publish it again.
  • RestocksAIO does not support a quantity above 1. Publish one item for each unit.
  • Wallapop has no size variations. Publish each size as its own item.
  • RestocksAIO does not delete an item with a reservation or an open sale. It also does not delete an item when Wallapop does not show whether the item is sold or reserved.

Item rules

RestocksAIO checks these rules before a publish:

  • The item needs a title of at most 50 characters.
  • The description has at most 640 characters. Wallapop receives it as plain text.
  • The item needs at least one photo. Wallapop takes at most 10 photos.
  • Each photo must be a JPEG, PNG or WebP file of 3 MB or less.
  • Wallapop takes only your own photos. See Own photos only.
  • The price must be at least 1 EUR.
  • The account must have a location. RestocksAIO reads the location from the Wallapop session.
  • When the category has no size list, the item has no size.

Own photos only

Wallapop does not allow catalogue or supplier pictures. RestocksAIO sends only your own photos to Wallapop:

  • the stored photos of the unit or the product. See Photo Storage.
  • photo files that you add with Add from computer in the Publish Composer.

RestocksAIO never sends catalogue pictures, marketplace pictures or pasted picture addresses to Wallapop. In the Publish Composer, the photo counter of the Wallapop channel shows "source: your photos".

When a unit has no own photo, the Publish Composer blocks the Wallapop channel with "Wallapop needs your own photos. Add photos to this unit or product in Photo storage." The other channels of the same publish still publish.

Relist and Relist from backup use the photos of the saved copy. This rule does not change them.

What RestocksAIO does not do on Wallapop

  • It does not buy or print shipping labels. Ship the order through Wallapop.
  • It does not read Wallapop payouts.
  • It does not edit the title, the description or the photos of a live item. It changes only the price.
